چکیده

The current research dealt with a comparative taxonomic study of the two types Chenopodium album L. and Chenopodiastrum murale at Baghdad , This was included cytological by calculating chromosome number sequence n=27,9. studying micro-morphological characteristics seeds fruits types, in addition to surface covering leaf part. All phenotypic were studied scanning electron microscope (SEM) Light (LM) terms shape, colour, dimensions Seed size measured program digmizer as well configuration Ch.album distinguished their dark-black color, while other type greenish-brown, fruits, helped isolate classify types. results showed variation density distribution method on presence glandular-bladder glandular hairs recorded Ch.album, for Ch.murale observed. It is worth noting that all obtained this are presented first time Iraq.

Chenoalbuside: an antioxidant phenolic glycoside from the seeds of Chenopodium album L. (Chenopodiaceae)

In addition to three known phytoecdysteroids, a new phenolic glycoside (named, chenoalbuside) was isolated from the methanol extract of the seeds of Chenopodium album. While the structures of all phytoecdysteroids were elucidated by direct comparison of their spectroscopic data with published data, the structure of chenoalbuside was determined unequivocally by a combination of UV, MS and 1D and...

Morphophysiological traits and atrazine sensitivity in Chenopodium album L.

BACKGROUND A Chenopodium album L. biotype surviving in atrazine-treated Serbian corn fields (VC) was compared against atrazine-susceptible (S) and atrazine-resistant (R) standards. RESULTS Atrazine (2 kg ha(-1)) killed S and VC shoot biomass 15 days after treatment (DAT), but R was only suppressed by 42% and survived 8 kg ha(-1). Atrazine at 2 kg ha(-1) only inhibited VC height by 60% as agai...

The Study of Anatomical Changes under the Influence of Cesium Uptake in Chenopodium album L

Lamb’s quarters goosefoot (with scientific name “Chenopodium album L.”) can absorb and purify heavy metals from environment. Cesium is one of pollutant and basic elements. Due to similarity to potassium, it can be absorbed by plants intensively. According to its absorption from the environment, cesium effect on anatomical and ontogenical structure of plant was studied. For this purpose, plant s...

Phenotypic plasticity to light competition and herbivory in Chenopodium album (Chenopodiaceae).

Competition and herbivory are ubiquitous environmental challenges that affect most plants. We examined the influence of phenotypic responses to either competition or herbivory on the subsequent response of the plants to the other factor. The stem-elongation response of Chenopodium album to light competition attenuated its resistance to caterpillar herbivory in terms of herbivore mortality, but ...

Sufficient matrices belong to L

In this paper, we establish a significant matrix class inclusion that seems to have been overlooked in the literature of the linear complementarity problem. We show that P∗, the class of sufficient matrices, is a subclass of L. In the course of demonstrating this inclusion, we introduce other new matrix classes that forge interesting new connections between known matrix classes.
